Juma Balinya scored later in the second half to rescue a point for Police FC in a 1-1 draw with Soltilo Bright Stars at Kavumba Recreation Center.

Soltilo Bright Stars had a chance in the 26th minute with a strong header from Fiat off a Mugume corner but it went over the cross bar.

Yasin Mugume broke the deadlock two minutes into the second half.

Bright Stars had a penalty appeal turned down after Kasinde was brought down in the box in the 71st minute.

Police FC got an equalizer in the 74th minute through Juma Balinya’s free kick to make it 1-1.

Police FC remained 10th on the table with 18 points while Bright Stars is now 14th with 16 points.

Elsewhere, Vianne Ssekajugo was a man of the moment when he scored four goals during URA FC’s 5-0 dominant win against Wakiso Giants.

Ssekajugo penalized his former bosses in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium on Tuesday before Kabon Living scored the fifth goal.

The win left URA FC third on the table with 34 points while Wakiso Giants remained seventh with 27 points.
