KCCA FC registered their second StarTimes Uganda Premier League win this season from from as many games following their 2-1 win against new comers Gaddafi FC.
Ashiraf Mugume and Davis Kasirye scored for the Kasasiro Boys at MTN Omondi Stadium on Saturday evening.
Mugume broke the deadlock in the 19th minute with a trademark curler from outside the box after getting a good ball from Gift Ali.
Kasirye then doubled KCCA FC’s lead when he headed in from close range following a good ball from Innocent Wafula.
In the 42nd minute, Gift Ali had a snap shot from just outside the 18 yard box saved by Gaddafi goal keeper Mutebi and went inches wide.
Gaddafi FC pulled one back in the 53rd minute through forward Brian Kalumba.
In the 64th minute, Denis Iguma had a long ball on the top but Gaddafi’s Bakari Magumba cleared his lines before he came closer again but his header rattled the crossbar.
Elsewhere, Express FC’s misery continued as they lost 1-0 against ten-man UPDF FC while Tooro United won 1-0 against Mbarara City.
