SUPL: Cromwel grabs a brace as URA edge UPDF

Cromwel Rothomio scored two goals while Vianne Ssekajugo scored the other as URA FC registered a 3-1 win against UPDF FC.

This was URA FC’s first game and win in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League this season at the Arena of Visions in Bombo.

In the third minute, Saidi Kyeyune had a long-range free-kick goes wide in URA FC’s first attempt.

In the 21st minute, Cromwel Rwothomio had a header hitting the post following a perfect corner kick from Sseruyidde.

Three minutes later, Shafik Kagimu had a thunderbolt from long range saved by UPDF FC custodian Bwete Brian.

UPDF FC went into the driving seat in the added minutes of the second half with a fantastic goal.

URA FC leveled the matters in the 68th minute courtesy of Cromwel Rothomio’s goal from wonderful cross from Ndahiro off the left.

Vianne Ssekajugo then made it 2-1 for URA FC with his first goal for the club following an assist from Dada.

Cromwel then made it 3-1 in the 84th minute after Mandela Ashraf swung in a cross and the striker nodded home to complete a comeback.
