KCCA FC head coach Morley Byekwaso was left contented by his team’s display during their 3-1 victory against Onduparaka FC.

The Kasasiro Boys picked a routine home win against Onduparaka FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Saturday evening.

A first half beautiful free kick from Herbert Achai and two second half goals from Usama Arafati and Jurua Hassan were all KCCA FC needed to pick three points at home against Onduparaka FC.

Baden Mujaidhin pulled one back for the visitors with a non stop strike from outside the box in the 83rd minute.

“It had been a while ever since we won with such a scoreline so I would like to thank the players and my technical team for their efforts,” Byekwaso said after the game.

“The players put up a good display and eventually, we got what we wanted to because Onduparaka is a very good team with a good coach who is trying to strengthen the team in every department.”

“As usual we created many chances but we only got what was maybe enough for the day but not the target because these are a lot of clear-cut chances that should produce plenty of goals.”

“If we want to be one of the best we need to score more and more goals because our opponents are scoring quite many and that’s how we shall be able to compete favourably,” he added.

This was KCCA FC’s sixth win in six home games against Onduparaka FC, they are now a point off the log leaders Vipers SC after 18 matches played this season.

KCCA FC’s focus now switches to Uganda Cup where KCCA FC will be hosting Soltilo Bright Stars FC at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo in the round of 32 on Friday 25th February 2022.
