They Red Eagles face off with BUL FC on Thursday afternoon at the FUFA technical center in Njeru as both sides eyes finals of the competition.

Express are bidding to reach their first Uganda Cup final in fourteen years.

“Having been eliminated from the Caf champions league, we’re back to battle for the Uganda cup,” Express FC head coach Wasswa Bbosa said.

“We learnt a lot on the continent which we’ve been working on as a team, everything we learnt we hope to apply beginning with the BUL game but we respect BUL.”

“They’re a good team but we want to make the final, we believe winning the game will motivate our fans more,” he added.

Express are targeting to win the competition for the 11th time as well.

This will be the 17th meeting between both sides with the Red Eagles managing four wins compared to BUL FC’s seven with five draws between them.
