St. Noa Girls-Zana beat France to storm semi-final at ISF World Schools football championship

St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana have advanced to the semi-final of the 2023 ISF World Schools football championship in Rabat, Morocco.

The Uganda representatives comfortably beat France 3-0 in the quarter-final stage to lighten their gold winning ambition chances.

St. Noa Girls-Zana scored through Joweria Nagadya and Miriam Ayo to send the entire Ugandan contingent in Rabat to celebration.

Joweria Nagadya scored a first half brace and a goal from Miriam “Bajaaji” Ayo in the last half to inspire the Zana based School to the semi-final in it’s inaugural edition.

St. Noa Girls will now face China 2 in the semi-final as they look forward to their first final appearance.

The progress comes after a massive  8-0 victory over South Americans Chile, a 1-all draw against host Morocco in the opener and a 5-1 victory over England top seal a top sit of group E.
