St Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana has topped Group B in the CAF Africa Schools Girls Football Championship in Accra, Ghana, with a flawless record.

The Ugandan representatives have won all three group matches, scoring seven goals and conceding none.

In their final group match, St Noa Girls dominated the Democratic Republic of Congo 3-0, with Brenda Nassaka, Lydia Namaseruka, and Grace Kawino contributing to the victory.

Earlier, they had defeated The Gambia 3-0, with Lillian Nabukeera scoring twice and Grace Kawino netting once.

St Noa’s semifinal berth was sealed with their perfect record, having also beaten defending champions South Africa 1-0 in their opening match, courtesy of Grace Kawino’s decisive goal.

The semifinals will feature St Noa Girls taking on Morocco, the runners-up of Group A, while hosts Ghana will face South Africa, the runners-up of Group B.

The winners of the championship will receive $300,000, with the runners-up and bronze medalists receiving $200,000 and $150,000, respectively, to support development projects in schools.
