The 2025 Masaza Cup final is set to be a thrilling encounter between two-time champions Ssingo and Buweekula, who booked their places in the championship game after winning their respective semi-final matches on Sunday evening.

Buweekula Edges Kyaggwe in Penalty Shootout

Buweekula overcame Kyaggwe 4-3 on penalties after a 1-0 win in the second leg match at Bishop SS playground in Mukuno.

Jimmy Kalema’s first-half goal in the second leg had given Buweekuka a 1-0 lead, but Kyaggwe’s 1-0 win in the first leg had taken the tie to penalties.

Ssingo Seals Spot with 2-1 Aggregate Win

Ssingo, on the other hand, edged Bugerere 2-1 on aggregate after a goalless draw in the second leg match at Ssingo Ssaza stadium in Mityana.

Ssingo had won the first leg 2-1, thanks to goals from Shaban Kayongo and Ismail Ramitara.

The 2025 Airtel Masaza Cup final will be played on November 1st at Hamz stadium in Nakivubo, with Ssingo aiming for their third trophy and Buweekula seeking their first.
