She Maroons FC kicked off the 2025/26 Finance Trust Bank Women’s Super League in style, thrashing Asubo Ladies FC 5-0 at Kampala Quality Grounds.

Norah Alupo scored twice, while Lillian Mutuzo, Immaculate Kizza, and Lillian Kasubo added to the scoreline in a dominant display.

The returnees to top-flight football were left reeling as She Maroons’ attacking prowess proved too much for them to handle.

The match showcased the Maroons’ potent frontline and their ability to capitalize on their opponents’ mistakes.

In another thrilling match, Makerere University and Rines SS WFC shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Phiona Arach put Rines ahead, but Rebecca Nakassato’s last-gasp equalizer salvaged a point for the hosts in front of their jubilant fans.

Lady Doves and Olila High School fought to a goalless stalemate at Katushabe Grounds, rounding off an action-packed opening weekend that saw moments of brilliance, heartbreak, and hope in equal measure.

 

Match Day One Results

The opening weekend of the 2025/26 Finance Trust Bank Women’s Super League saw 16 goals scored in six electrifying matches.

The results were as follows:

– Kawempe Muslim 1-1 Kampala Queens

– She Corporate 4-1 Uganda Martyrs

– Amus College 1-1 St. Noa GFC

– Asubo Ladies 0-5 She Maroons

– She MAK 1-1 Rines WFC

– Lady Doves 0-0 Olila
