Uganda Premier League side Maroons FC have announced the signing of SC. Villa winger Rogers Kiwanuka.

The former Buddo SS player has joined the Luzira warders on a two year employment contract.

“With pleasure we announce the signing of 23-year-old Rogers Kiwanuka, a winger from SC Villa, on a two-year contract.

With his experience as a champion and his impressive skills, we are delighted to welcome him to our team.”. Reads the club statement.

Kiwanuka joined SC Villa in 2022 from Nansana United and made a significant impact, contributing to the team’s success in the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League title win.

He scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists in just 8 games, showcasing his exceptional speed and clinical finishing abilities.

He also scored 2 goals in the Uganda Cup for SC Villa.

Maroons finished 7th on 41 points in the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League season.
