Uganda Premier League record champions SC Villa bounced back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory against Vipers SC at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku.

Charles Bbale who is the club’s leading top scorer scored the only goal that handed Jackson Magera’s side all the three points.

Bbale headed home Travis Mutyaba’s Cross in the 33 minute taking the record champions to 48 points and maintaining the top of the table slot.

SC Villa will next play wounded URA FC on Wednesday 3rd at Mehta Stadium Lugazi.

Vipers SC’s next game will be home at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende on Tuesday 2nd against struggling Gaddafi FC

Julius Poloto scored the only goal as KCCA FC was defeating Gaddafi FC 1-0 at Kakindu Stadium in Jinja.

The victory was the second for Jackson Mayanja since his appointment on interim basis after the resignation of Morley Byekwaso.

The first game Mayanja handled was a 4-1 victory against SC Villa at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.
