Matchday eleven of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League kicks off today, and BUL FC is hosting UPDF FC in Najjembe.

The hosts are seeking victory after three consecutive draws. The visitors also shared spoils with Police FC in their last league game, coming from behind twice to force a 2-2 draw.

However, UPDF has failed to register any victories on the road so far this season.

BUL has managed to secure only one victory at home this season, which came against Soltilo Bright Stars.

In the previous six games as hosts, BUL has won five games against UPDF, with the immediate last four victories coming in succession.

BUL FC during last training

However, UPDF FC defeated BUL FC home and away last season. Could the Eastern Giants revenge the evening?

BUL FC head coach Abbey Kikomeko commented on the UPDF game: “We are hosting UPDF tomorrow after our barren draw against Maroons last time out. UPDF is one of the teams that dented our title hopes last season, but we are going to put in what it takes to win our second home game of the season. We create chances in all our games but fail to convert them, but we have worked on that, and we are going out to revenge tomorrow.”

UPDF FC is boosted by the return of Tebandeke Christopher, Zzinda Hussein, Ochen Emma Emmanuel, and Andrew Kigozi.

For BUL, they welcome back Isaac Wagoina, while Walter Ochora and Pascal Ngoobi are out due to injury and suspension (accumulated cards), respectively.
