Police FC has secured a comfortable spot in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32, thrashing Mairye United 3-0 in Luweero district on Friday, February 6, 2026.

Charles Bbaale scored a brace, and Umar Kasumba added another, with Kasumba’s penalty in the 9th minute setting the tone for the visitors’ victory.

The win joins a string of successful results in the round of 64, including URA’s 1-0 win over Patongo United, Entebbe UPPC’s 1-0 victory over Ombachi Pride, and Kitara’s 1-0 win over Obule Earth Quake.

SC Villa also advanced, overcoming Pallisa Hospital FC 2-1 despite being reduced to 10 men early on.

Other winners include NEC, Lugazi United, Maroons, and Express FC.

The draw for the round of 32 is pending, with Vipers SC, the reigning champions, looking to defend their title.
