Ugandan midfielder Pius Obuya has sealed a move to Serbian side FK Kabel Novi Sad from Maroons FC.

After sealing a move, Obuya took to his Facebook page to announce the good news.

“Today I finally get to say bye to maroons football Club where my story begun,” Obuya posted.

“Great memories I have at heart and will always be proud to be part of such a profound history. You made me what I am today and will forever be grateful.”

“Thank you all the coaches I worked with at maroons fc, right from the academy to the memorable day I made my senior debut, you have been a big part of my journey.”

“And to all the players, staff members, not forgetting the beautiful fans, and the Big Uganda Prisons Family, I love you.”

“I wish the Club the best in the future endeavours. Now I put focus on helping my new team FK Kabel Novi Sad in Serbia, my new home.”

Obuya will join Abraham Ndugwa in Serbia who is due to finalise a deal to FK Buducnost Dobanovci.
