Two-time champions Makerere University Business School (MUBS) put up a commanding performance to comfortably win 2-0 on the road against University of Kisubi.

The Pepsi University league tie was played today Wednesday, 13th April at University of Kisubi grounds along Entebbe road.

MUBS who enjoyed dominance of play for most of the game went into the lead through Stuart Magumba just after six (6) minutes of play.

In the final bend of the first stanza, Masaza Cup winner Sharif Ssengendo doubled and sealed the 2-0 win in 43rd minute.

The second half saw more of the same action as MUBS enjoyed a lion’s share possession despite failing to convert many opportunities.

Action in the Pepsi University Football League continues tomorrow Thursday as Entebbe road house hold Nkumba University host Arua-based Muni University.

The 2 sides last met in the cancelled 2020 season with Nkumba winning that encounter 4-0 at home.
