Buikwe District and Buganda champions Rays of Grace Junior School and St. Mary’s Primary School – Lubaga in Kampala will feature in this year’s FUFA Odilo Cup final after semi-final triumph.

Rays of Grace (Buikwe, Buganda) won 1-0 over ST Catherine PS (Hoima, Kitara) in the semi-finals to cruise to final

Hamis Naluapa fired home the two time champions from a a close range to seal victory for Rays of Grace.

Meanwhile, counterparts Mary’s PS (Rubaga, Kampala) laboured past Oasis Primary School (Arua, West Nile) in a 1-2 victory to storm final.

Ian Okia and Junior Nsubuga scored the two goals for the Kampala side while Amir Rashid grabbed the consolation for West Nilers.

This year’s final will be played on Thursday, the 21st, November, 2024, at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru (11:00AM).

Maganda Yowasi and Kawuma Douglas both of Rays of Grace top the top scorers’ log with 5 and 4 goals respectively.

After three editions, Rays of Grace Junior School is the most successful team having won the championship twice in 2019 and 2022.

Meanwhile, Kampala Grammar Primary School are last year’s champions.
