Buganda Schools Sports competitions have today, Saturday 9th March 2024 hit day two.

The recorded subliminal performances with great talent exhibitions in girls football category.

Kawempe Muslim Secondary School registered two massive win over Trinity College Nabingo (5-0) and a 14-00 against St. Joseph Nsambya to set Nabagereka Cup Girls football championship trophy.

Lisah Nakawombe, Ashley Namiirimu, Sarah Namboga, Tabitha Mbaddwe and Esther Nabukenya were on target for Kawempe Muslim in their 5-0 suppression over Trinity College Nabingo in their opener.

Agnes Nabukenya and Cynthia Kirenga bagged a hat-trick, a brace for Halima Kampi and a goal from Marble Adong, Brendah Nabunya, Mayi Birungi and Fahima Babirye each to white wash St. Joseph Nsambya in a 14-00 landslide win in their second and last group stage tie.

In the other day’s fixtures, Caltec Academy Makerere beat St. Joseph Nsambya 4-1.

Rosemary Letaru scored a brace, whilst Jane Akello and Lydia Namayanja scored a goal each for the Makerere based school.

 

Clarisha Komakech scored St Joseph Nsambya’s only consolation.

Uganda Martyrs High School – Lubaga will embark onto their tomorrow after missing day one due a Buganda Regional league game against Shamma in Mityana.

They will face off with Trinity College Nabingo in their opener before locking horns with Wampeewo Ntake in the evening.

The finals will be held on Saturday, the 16th March 2024 at Kawanda Secondary School Grounds in Wakiso City.

Buganda Premier Charles Peter Mayiga together with other Kingdom dignitaries will grace the finals.
