Mbarara City and Kitara FC played to stalemates as NEC FC match on to go on top of the Big League table.

NEC FC’s captain Marvin Kavuma scored the only goal for debuntants FC in their 1-0 victory against Calvary FC at Bugolobi Coffee grounds.

Kavuma scored from the spot in the last minute of the game helping NEC FC to go on top of the table with 33 points one above second placed Kitara FC

Kitara FC played to a goalless draw against Northern Gateway FC at the Gateway Stadium in Lira.

It was Sam Ssimbwa’s first competitive game ever since he took over from Mark Twinamasiko as the head coach.

Mbarara City also drew 1-1 with debutants Booma FC at Masindi Stadium.

Denis Omedi scored for Booma FC before Seiri Arigumaho putting the game to level

Lugazi FC defeated Police FC 1-0 in Lugazi thanks to Paul Wasswa for the sole strike

FUFA Big League match day 17 will be played on Thursday 16 February.
