In a grand ceremony held at the Mandela Group’s Industrial Area branch in Kampala, Kyeyune Godfrey, a thrilled teacher, received the keys to a brand-new, 100% electric vehicle.

The car was awarded to Kyeyune as part of a promotion by Mandela Group of Companies, in conjunction with Uganda Premier League record and defending champions SC Villa sponsors Linglong Tires.

The handover ceremony, attended by distinguished guests, including Mrs. Sarah Rubanga Kaggwa, the Deputy Honorary Consul of Canada to Uganda.

To win the electric car, Kyeyune had participated in the Mandela Group promotion by purchasing at least two Linglong Tires and availing motor services at any of the City Oil service centers.

Overwhelmed with joy, Kyeyune expressed his gratitude to Mandela Group, praising the quality and performance of Linglong Tires.

“I’m very happy to share my personal experience with Linglong tires. I’ll continue purchasing them because they’re long-lasting and perform well under various pressure conditions. I recommend them to everyone,” he said.

Mahad Twaha, a marketing official at Mandela Group, highlighted the features of the electric vehicle, emphasizing its alignment with the global green revolution.

“This electric vehicle produces zero emissions and reduces our carbon footprint. As City Tires, we’re committed to being part of this sustainable movement by rewarding our customers with eco-friendly vehicles,” he explained.

The vehicle boasts advanced security features, ensuring the safety and protection of the owner. With its cutting-edge technology, only the authorized owner can operate the vehicle, providing Kyeyune with peace of mind.

Mandela Group has announced that two more vehicles will be given away by the end of October, encouraging customers to participate in the campaign for a chance to win.
