Kitara register first win with victory against Wakiso Giants

Kitara FC registered their maiden win with of the 2020/2021 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season with a 3-2 win against Wakiso Giants on Wednesday afternoon.

Peter Lomoro and Edson Agondeze’s scond half double were enough as the newcomers registered their maiden league victory at home.

Wakiso’s two goals on the other hand were scored by Vianne Sekajugo in the 46th and 88th minutes respectively.

Meanwhile, Wakiso Giants had the chance of leveling the game in the first half after Lomoro’s 32nd goal but Rahmat Ssenfuka failed to score from spot kick in the 35th minute.

The result means that Wakiso Giants remains 9th with 15 points from 13 games played. Their next game will be a home fixture against Busoga United.

Meanwhile, Kitara is now 15th on the log with five points from 13 games played. They will visit BUL FC in their next game.
