Kitara FC thrash Lugazi FC, BUL FC held to goalless draw by Express FC

Kitara FC secured a commanding 4-0 victory over Lugazi FC in the Startimes Uganda Premier League, while BUL FC was held to a goalless draw by Express FC in another match.

Kitara FC dominated the match against Lugazi FC from the onset, with forward Patrick Henry Kaddu scoring the opening goal in the 11th minute.

Kaddu doubled Kitara FC’s lead just before halftime, converting a penalty spot kick in the 45th minute.

After the break, Kitara FC continued to press, with midfielder Yunus Sibira scoring the third goal five minutes into the second half.

Eddie Ssebandeke sealed the win for Kitara FC with a goal two minutes before stoppage time, netting the fourth goal and securing a convincing victory.

In another match, BUL FC and Express FC played out a goalless draw at the FUFA Technical Centre Njeru.

The stalemate maintained BUL FC’s unbeaten run, with the team sitting atop the league table with nine points from five matches.

Express FC, on the other hand, sits eighth on the table with five points from five matches.

The results have seen Kitara FC move up to seventh place on the league table with seven points, while Lugazi FC drops to ninth place with five points after five rounds.

BUL FC’s draw has helped them maintain their lead at the top of the table, while Express FC will be looking to bounce back from the stalemate.
