The Express FC player of the month nominees for the month of November are out! Forward Erick Kambale, midfielder Yaya Mahad Kakooza and versatile defender Deus Bukenya make the three-man shortlist.

November saw the Red Eagles play four league games and went unbeaten managing two draws and wins apiece.

All the three nominees played all the four games and performed as follows;

Erick Kambale

Picked up an assist and a goal. The lanky forward was on hand to assist Godfrey Lwesibawa’s goal away in Arua as the Red Eagles managed a point during the 1-1 draw.

He also scored against Wakiso Giants FC as Wasswa Bbosa’s charges earned their first home league win of the season.

Yaya Mahad Kakooza

The hard tackling midfielder earns his second straight player of the month nomination after October, Yaya managed an assist during the first game of the month, the 2-1 away win against Police FC assisting for George Senkaaba to win the game at the death.

He was also named the Pilsner man of the match.

Deus Bukenya

The versatile defender kicked off November with a decent display, his screamer during the first game of November, the 2-1 win away to Police FC set the ball rolling.

Deus scored from almost 25 yards to give the Red Eagles the lead in the game.

Bukenya who was mostly deployed at right back also ensured the backline picked up two clean sheets in November.
