After guiding Mbarara City back to top flight football league, Sadick Ssempigi has been appointed the new coach for Big League side Jinja North United FC.

The function was held at Bax Hotel in Jinja on Monday 26th June.

He replaces Abdulswamad Musafiri and signed a contract of one year with a task of helping the Eastern side earn top flight promotion.

Joseph Kagaba the club CEO believes Ssempigi’s determination prompted his appointment.

“We are happy to unveil our new coach with our target of joining the top tier we decided to look no further but appoint Ssempigi.”

“His qualities and determination are some of the reason why we opted for him giving him a contract of one year.”

The Bulemeezi head coach lead Mbarara City to the top tier last season.

He is a former coach at Arua Hill SC, Onduparaka FC and Kampala University.
