Jackson Mayanja appointed KCCA FC head coach after technical room overhaul
KCCA FC have confirmed the appointment of former Jackson Mayanja on interim basis until the end of the season. KCCA FC have confirmed the appointment of former Jackson Mayanja on interim basis until the end of the season.

Mayanja replaces Morley Byekwaso who resigned the day KCCA lost 1-0 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup at the quarter finals.

As a player Mayanja played KCCA FC, Egyptian Al Masry, Esperance of Tunisia and Lowi FC of Oman.

He is a former coach at Kyetume FC, Kagera FC, Simba SC, URA FC, Lyantonde , Bunamwaya FC (now Vipers SC) and recently As Kigali of Rwanda where he worked as an assistant to Mike Mutebi.

The club has also let go Badru Mukasa Kaddu ( Byekwaso’s assistant ), Richard Malinga ( assistant coach As well as junior team coach) and Fahadie Yahaya Walugembe (scout)

Mayanja will have Sam Charles Ssenyange as his assistant while Moses Oloya is also retained as the goalkeeping coach.

Ssaka Mpima remains as an assistant coach and head coach Junior team.

The fitness and conditioning coach is Felix Ayobo, Ivan Ssewanyana team doctor, Emmanuel Tusuubira is the physiotherapist, Betty Nantale and Bashir Kawooya are in the kits department.
