FUFA Women Super League: She Corporate beat UCU Lady Cardinals as Kampala Queens thumps Rines in match-day five

She Corporate came from a goal down to beat UCU Lady Cardinals in the top of the table clash of the 2021/22 FUFA Women Super League.

The fixture was played on Saturday, 5th March at UCU Ground in Mukono.

Shadia Nankya scored for UCU whilst Favor Nambatya and Suzan Atim netted for She Corporate.

UCU Lady Cardinals through the lanky defender Shadia Nankya gained the lead just 12 minutes into the game.

However, late into the play, the Cardinals surrendered the lead as Favour Nambatya equalized in 88th to make it 1-1.

Suzan Atim became a day’s hero with a late winner two minutes (90+2) in the added to seal the Sharks’ victory.

UCU Lady Cardinal’s loss inspired She Corporate to occupy top spot on the log with 13 points from five games while UCU Lady Cardinals dropped to second with ten.

In the other games, Kampala Queens secured the second win of the season beating Rines WFC 3-0 at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso.

New signing Margret Kunihira scored a hat-trick for the city Queens taking her season tally to four.

Elsewhere, draw masters Tooro Queens shared spoils with Olila in a goalless draw.

This becomes Tooro Queens’ 5th draw in five games this season.
