West Nile Province take on Lango Province in the return leg final of the third edition of FUFA Drum tournament at Aki Bua Stadium in Lira this evening.

In an anticipated do or die tie, West Nile banks on their first leg 2-0 lead advantage.

“The mood in the camp is high and we are looking forward to this game as a trick one. We are very aware of what is ahead of us but ready to fight and win so that we can come out victorious and take back to trophy home.”

“I call upon the 12th player and those are our lovely fans to come in large numbers we are counting on them as their support has always been so instrumental in this journey.” Captain Rashid Toha

West Nile won the first leg at Greenlight Stadium in Arua by 2-0. Rashid Toha and Fred Amaku scored for West Nile.

However, they will not be with their first choice goalkeeper Nafian Alionzi who is currently with the Uganda Cranes in Algeria for CHAN tournament.

The first edition of the FUFA Drum tournament was won by Buganda Province after eliminating West Nile 2-1 in a two legged final in 2018.

Acholi Province won Bukedi in 2019 5-3 in spot kicks following a barren full-time stalemate.
