Kawempe Muslim 1-0 Lady Doves

Uganda Martyrs 0-0 Rines SS

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC edged Lady Doves in a 1-0 victory to extend their Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League table lead.

The epic mouthwatering tie was held at Kawempe Grounds on Sunday, the 10th November 2024.

The defending champions scored through Hadijja Babirye deep into the second half to attain a hard-fought 1-0 win.

This is the fifth win in six games for Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC.

Kawempe returned to winning ways after their 1-1 away draw in Bukedea against Amus College last weekend.

The Valley Warriors top the league table with 16 points, four more than second placed Kampala Queens.

On the other hand, this was Lady Doves’ first loss of the season.

The Masindi based side are 5th on the Log with 8 points in five games pending the addition of their walk over points.

In match day five, Lady Doves didn’t play after their opponent Olila High School failed to travel to Masindi.

In the other game of the day, Uganda Martyrs Women Football Club and Rines SS share points in a goalless draw at Bugolobi Coffee grounds.
