Hadijjah Nandago (brace), Rebecca Nakato and Shakira Nyinagahirwa with a goal each inspired Kawempe to their third successive win at the national event.

Today’s win came after Kawempe Muslim’s  two day one and two. They labored past Western region side Sheema in a slim 1-0 win.

Crested Cranes midfielder Hadijjah Nandago scored the all important sole goal for the all time champions Kawempe to register a second successive win.

Their first win at this year’s championship was 4-0 against Panyadoli SS. Hadijjah Nandago still was on target thrice.

However, their rival opponents St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana slipped to a goalless draw against Wakiso district reigning champions Taggy High.

Jointly in leadership of group H with Boni Consili who have better goal difference, national defending champions St. Noa have two wins and draw in three games compared to Taggy High School’s two occupying the four place.
