Lady Doves FC 1-1 FC Tooro Queens

She Corporate FC mark a winning return to the Finance Trust Women Super League with a slim 1-0 hard fought victory over hosts Uganda Martyrs Women Football Club.

The game was played this Saturday morning, the 28th September 2024 at Coffee Grounds in Bugolobi, Kampala.

Alomo Whisper scored the only goal of the game as former champions She Corporate FC defeated Uganda Martyrs WFC 1-0 in Bugolobi to ensure that they have won their first game upon returning to the FTWSL.

In the other game, debutants Amus College WFC won 1-0 over their hosts Olila High School Women Football Club.

Tamasi Shafiga’s lone goal at Olila Grounds was enough for the visiting side from Bukedea to pocket all the three points.

The last game on the day’s menu card between Lady Doves FC and FC Tooro Queens ended in stalemate.

The newly promoted side in FC Tooro Queens collected a point from former champions Lady Doves FC in Masindi following a 1-1 draw.

Imelda Kasemire gave the visitors the lead before Resty Kobusobozi equalized for the hosts.

The league returns tomorrow with defending champions Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC launching their title defense against Rines SS WFC in the  Kawempe deadly valley.

In the other game, Makerere University WFC will host She Maroons at Makerere University Grounds on Sunday.
