The nominees for the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League Monthly Awards for February have been announced, recognizing outstanding performances from matchday 12, 13, and 14.

In the best coach category, three exceptional tacticians have been shortlisted: Asefa Haile Gabreal of Kampala Queens, Edward Kasozi of Uganda Martyrs, and Ronald Eletu of Olila High School Women FC.

Asefa guided Kampala Queens, the current league leaders, to three impressive wins without conceding a single goal.

Edward Kasozi helped Uganda Martyrs register two wins in three games, while Ronald Eletu secured one win and two draws with Olila.

For the best player award, three talented players will vie for the top honor: Peace Muduwa of Kampala Queens, Latifah Nakasi of Uganda Martyrs, and Dorcus Lwalisa of Olila High School Women FC.

Peace Muduwa scored crucial goals against Uganda Martyrs and Makerere University WFC, helping her team maintain their perfect record.

Latifah Nakasi scored vital goals in Uganda Martyrs’ wins over Tooro Queens and She Maroons, securing two wins in three games.

Meanwhile, defender Dorcus Lwalisa netted two goals in three games, with Olila managing to win one game and share spoils in the other two.

Dorcus Lwalisa holds the record for the most player of the match awards (5) this season.

The winners of the best coach and player of the month will each receive an award and UGX 500,000.

The Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League resumes this weekend with Matchday 15, featuring exciting fixtures:

– Amus College vs Olila

– Wakiso Hill vs Kampala Queens
