St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School – Kitende and St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana have reached this year’s FEASSA Games girls basketball semi-finals.

With one game to play against Uganda’s Buddo SS to complete the group stage, St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana have qualified for the semi finals of the 2024 FEASSA girls basketball.

St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana have this afternoon registered a hard fought 62-48 win against a physical and athletic Kaya Tiwi of Kenya.

The win follows their first two against Rwanda’s champions GS Marie Reine, Musanze by 83-48 and their 67-41 win against Kenyan Champions Butere Girls Secondary School.

Meanwhile, St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School – Kitende have also won 63-56 against Nabisunsa Girls Secondary School to seal semi-final slots.

The Kitende based school have won three of their fixtures in a row to storm the knockout stage with a game in hand.

Uganda’s Buddo Secondary School faced the second defeat in the group losing 62-42 to Kenya champions Butere Girls Secondary School.

Elsewhere, Orkweswa SS beat Buruburu 66-63 in a highly contested Kenyan affair.
