Express FC marksman Eric Kambale is aiming to better last season’s performances as he prepares for the new season

The Red Eagles will kickstart their 2021/2022 season on Friday October 15th at home against the promoted Arua Hill SC.

According to Kambale, the Wankulukuku-based side must better their last season’s heroics especially if they are to defend the StarTimes Uganda Premier League title.

“The new season is here and we’ve given everything to be ready,” Kambale was quoted saying.

“As a team we had a bumper schedule last season but we were determined and motivated. I believe we still are and we shall perform very well,” he added.

Kambale scored 15 goals and assisted two to help Express win the title by a single point but he is hoping to do better than last season’s heroics.

“Last season for me was great but I want to do better and I believe I can achieve it beginning with our first home game this Friday,” he noted.

After Arua Hill, Express will take on UPDF FC, BUL FC, Vipers SC and Police FC as their first five league games.
