FUFA Big League side Mbale and have confirmed Edgar Sharp on interim basis after the departure of head coach Asaph Mwebaze.

Mwebaze left together with his assistant and goalkeeper coach Juma Miburo.

Sharp will be in charge until the promotional chasing side get a new head coach,

“Recent addition Coach Edgar Sharp will in the interim take charge of the team for training and the preparation of our upcoming matches as the Club moves swiftly to appoint a new head coach soonest.

There will be no further comment until a new head coach appointment is made”.

Mbale Heroes currently occupies the third position with 35 points from 21 games, they are five points behind table leaders Police FC.

Their next opponent will be Booma FC on 14th April at Mbale Municipal Stadium.
