Booma FC rallied from a goal behind to defeat FUFA Big League table leaders Police FC 2-1 at Masindi Municipal Stadium.

Dickson Niwamanya scored all the two goals that helped Mark Twinamatsiko’s charges to walk away with maximum points.

Niwamanya’s first goal came in the 40th minute before he completed his brace in the 25th minute.

Isaac Ogwang’s goal he had scored in the 27th minute for the Cops turned out to be a mere consolation.

The Cops remain on top of the table despite defeat tied on points (13) with second placed Blacks Power FC.

Both teams will next face Calvary FC as their next opponent.

Booma FC will visit Calvary on Thursday 2nd November at Midigo Primary School grounds in Yumbe.

Simon Peter Mugerwa’s men will host them on 12th November at Kavumba Recreation grounds.
