The 2025 CAF U14 Girls football qualifiers are heating up as Kawempe Muslim Secondary School and St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana prepare to face off in a crucial match this afternoon.

The highly anticipated tie is scheduled to kick off at 12pm on Tuesday, July 15th, at St. Peter’s College in Tororo.

A Do-or-Die Encounter

Both teams have started the tournament on a strong note, with Kawempe Muslim registering a 2-0 win over Bukedea Comprehensive School and St. Noa triumphing 2-0 over the same opponents in the tournament opener.

The stakes are high, and the winner of this match will automatically take the lead in the table before the reverse fixtures.

Previous Results

In their tournament opener, Kawempe Muslim’s Robbina Nabakooza and Brenda Namiya scored the goals that secured a 2-0 victory over Bukedea Comprehensive School.

Meanwhile, St. Noa’s Mary Ankata and team captain Lilian Nabukeera scored the goals that sealed a 2-0 win over Bukedea Comprehensive School in the tournament’s first match.

Bukedea Comprehensive School is yet to collect a point at this championship with  similar 2-0 defeats to both St. Noa and Kawempe

Tournament Format

The tournament features a round-robin format, with each team playing the others on a home-and-away basis. The team with the most points after four games will be crowned the champion.

The winners of the tournament will qualify for the CAF Schools tournament qualifiers for the CECAFA region, which will take place in Rwanda in December.

High Stakes

With only three teams participating in the tournament, the competition is expected to be intense.

The winner of this match will gain a significant advantage in the standings, making this encounter a true do-or-die affair.

The stakes are high, and the teams will need to bring their A-game to emerge victorious.
