Vipers Sports Club’s preparations for the crucial Second Leg match against TP Mazembe in the Second Round of the CAF Champions League are in the final bend.

The Venoms and Ravens shared the spoils in the first leg last Sunday at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, leaving the tie open for either team.

And according to the club’s deputy skipper Siraje Sentamu has made a precise, clear and concise analysis of what’s needed of the team on Sunday at the Stade TP Mazembe.

“Of course, TP Mazembe is more experienced,” Sentamu said.

“They have played in this competition for many years and also won it a number of times. But we have no option but to attack them because we need goals. Attack is the weapon we are going to use.”

The experienced midfielder played 90 minutes and was up for any challenge throughout.

The Venoms will be hoping for an even better performance from not just him, but the entire team in Lubumbashi.

The winner over the two games will progress to the group stages, while the other team will progress to the CAF Confederation Cup.
