The Uganda U-20 head coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi was impressed with his team’s performance despite a 2-1 loss to She Corporate Women Football Club.

The two sides squared off during a practice match played at Lugogo in Kampala on Tuesday, 23rd November 2021.

Sumaya Komuntale gave the national junior side the lead on 42 minutes for the half time lead.

Favour Nambatya and Phiona Nabumba replied for She Corporate in the 50th and 80th minutes respectively.

“It was a great game of character’ he noted after the practice match played under sunny conditions,” Ayub Khalifa said.

“The first half was excellent and we led 1-0. I changed the entire team to test the other players. Unfortunately, we lost. We shall improve upon the grey areas urgently,” he added.

The team resumes training on Wednesday afternoon at Lugogo before playing another build up (team yet to be revealed) will be played on Thursday, 25th November 2021.
