The announcement for venue change came through this evening, Tuesday 6th February 2024 via the club’s official twitter handle as it reads below.

“Due to the renovations underway at our home ground [Kampala Quality], we have opted to use Kawanda SS Ground as our home for the second round of the season”. Reads the Club statement on twitter.

Asubo Ladies Football Club left Kiteezi to Kampala Quality play ground at the beginning of the 2023/23 season.

The new home(Kawanda) will host their first second round fixture against She MAK on Saturday, the 17th February.

Despite a mediocre start to the season, Asubo have staged a fight to sit above the red zone at the end of the first round.
They are currently 7th on table with only nine (9) points in nine games.

The “Home of Talent” have won two(2), drawn three (3) and lost four (4), conceding 18 and scoring ten (10) to have a goal difference of -8 in the entire first round.

In the January transfer, they registered three serious additions from St. Noa Girls Secondary School’s including former captain Sarah Babirye, Miriam Ayoo Bridget Hellen Nabayaza and Esther Namataka from She Kataka.

Currently, Kamiyat Nayigaga is the club’s top scorer on three goals.
Kawempe Muslim Ladies lead the table standings with 21 points, one more than second placed Kampala Queens on 20, whilst Rines and Wakiso Hill are 9th and 10th respectively.

Forward Agnes Nabukenya of Kawempe tops the top scorers with six goals.
