St. Mary’s-Kitende 2-1 St. Henry’s College-Kitovu Kitovu

Amus College 1-0 Kibuli SS

St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School-Kitende beat St. Henry’s College Kitovu 2-1 in the semi-final to reach this year’s final.

It was an all-Ugandan affair semi-final of boys football at the ongoing Federation of East African Secondary School Sports Association (FEASSSA) games in Huye, Rwanda,

Faizal Tumwine scored a brace for Kitende whilst Ronald Mutasiga netted for Kitovu.

In their last group game, St Mary’s Boarding Secondary School-Kitende beat Kenya’s Dagoretti 3-0.

Abubaker Walusimbi, Hakim Mutebi and Rogers Torach scored for the Wakiso based side.

They completed group stages winning three of their four and drawing one against Kibuli SS.

They will face Amus College School Bukedea who eliminated defending champions Kibuli SS.

Amus slimly won by 1-0 against Kibuli SS in another epic semi-final held at Huye Stadium.

Allan Oyirwoth scored the sole goal to send his tally to nine (9). He’s currently the leading goals scorer of the tournament.

This will be Amus College’s first final coming on their debut season against record champions who are also the reigning champions.
