Masaza Cup: Kyadondo beat Buddu, Bulemezi, Gomba win over the weekend

Kyadondo stunned Buddu with a 1-0 win away from home to compile more misery to the Masaka based side.

Buddu lost at home in Masaka Recreation grounds on Sunday, 23rd 2023.

The Kaggo boys scored through Derrick Walugembe as they registered a back to back wins.The loss became Buddu’s second loss in a row.

In the other encounter, Kyaggwe shared spoils with  Buwekula.

The two sides played to a 1-all draw in the other game played in Masengere Group.

Earnest Ankunda scored for visitors Buwekula in the first stanza before Yusuf Mukwana equalized for the home side.

In the same group, Buluuli beat Kooki 2-1.

Under pressure holders Busiro registered their first ever win of the campaign with a 1-0 win against Mawogola.

Busiro was at home at  Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso City on Sunday evening.

Akram Muzanyi scored the only of the tie to give relief to under pressure Ibrahim Kirya.

Mawokota and Ssese played to a goalless stalemate in the other Muganzirwazza Group game at Buwama while five time winners Gomba powered 2-0 past Kabula at Kabulasoke playgrounds.

Samuel Lukoye and Patrick Mugisha scored the two goals for Felix Ssekabuza coached side Gomba.

Stuart Kezaala scored a brace as Buvuma comfortably beat Bugerere by 2-0 whilst Ssingo returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Butambala at Mityana Ssaza Grounds.

Young star Elvis Ssekajugo grabbed a brace for Ssingo in the first half while Charles Ssekandi found netted for Butambala.

Bulemeezi beat Busujju 1-0.  Dickson Odeke sole strike earned the 2012 and 2019 champions Bulemezi a desired win.
