Crested Cranes custodian Vanessa Edith Karungi has finalized a move to Denmark top tier side FC Nordsjælland.

Karungi whose B.93 missed out on a topflight promotion on the last day of the 2022/23 season becomes the second Ugandan player at FC Nordsjælland. She follows footsteps of Natasha Shirazi who played for the club in 2019.

The former She Corporate, Olila High School goalkeeper Karungi has been at second tier side B.93 Women since 2021.

Her transfer comes shortly she missed out on the Crested Cranes squad summoned to prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympic women’s football qualifiers against Rwanda
