Vipers SC have progress to this year’s Stanbic Uganda Cup final despite suffering a 1-0 defeat to Soltilo Bright Stars at Kavumba.

Captain Nelson Senkatuka scored for Asaph Mwebaze’s coached side.

Despite defeat Vipers SC stormed to final on aggregate 4-1, The Venoms had won the first leg 4-0 at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

This will be the third consecutive final Vipers SC will be playing

In 2021 Vipers SC defeated BUL FC 8-1 to emerge champions at FUFA Technical Center Njeru.

In 2023 the Kitende based side lost 3-1 to BUL that was then coached by Alex Isabirye at Masindi Stadium.

Vipers will play Police FC on Saturday 3rd June in the final at Aki Bua Stadium in Lira.
