FUFA Big League: Calvary beat Kitara FC in a heated contest

Kitara lost to Calvary FC away as Mbarara City and Police FC played to a stalemate as Match day 22 of the FUFA Big League climaxed.

Calvary scored through Ogenga and Micheal Kedi to register a slim 2-1 victory against Sam Simbwa’s charges.

Kitara FC’s only goal of the game was scored by Jasper Aheebwa from the penalty spot.

Simbwa’s men still top the table despite defeat with 43 points, they will play Police next on 30th March at Kigaya grounds.

Calvary FC now occupy the fifth position with 33 points.

In Kavumba it was a one all stalemate between Police FC and Mbarara City FC

Ibrahim Tembo and Emmanuel Mugume scored for Mbarara City and Police FC respectively

Mbarara City maintain their second position with 41 points two behind leaders Kitara..

They host Ndejje University at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara

Police is fourth with 40 points, their next task is an away game in Kagaya against Kitara
