Express FC head coach James Odoch claims that their victory against Paidha Black Angels is motivation for his side.

The Red Eagles were 4-0 winners in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 16 at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku on Wednesday evening.

Goals from Faisal Ssekyanzi, a brace from Boban Zirintuusa and Ntege Anwar were enough for Express FC on the day.

“It has been a good game the boys gave their all and happy about it. We have won with a margin of four goals and a clean sheet at home which we’ve taken some time without.”

“This comes in as a motivation for us ahead of the Sunday games and We will build our next points from today’s results,” Odoch said.

Meanwhile, midfielder Boban Zirintuusa claims that he is happy for scoring a brace to help his side register victory.

“I am happy that I have scored a brace today and assisted one. Today’s win has boosted us a team ahead of Sunday’s clash against Gadaffi.we are now confident that the results will come our way for the rest of the season,” he noted.

The Red Eagles will be turning focus to the Startimes Uganda Premier League game on Sunday 19th March against Jinja based side Gaddafi FC.
