Stanbic Uganda Cup: Vipers drawn against Wakiso Giants

The round of 16 draws of the 49th edition of the Stanbic Uganda Cup have been held at FUFA Complex in Mengo by former Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Sadiq Wassa.

Last year’s finalists Vipers SC have been drawn against Wakiso Giants and the game will be played in Wakisha.

All the three Regional League sides still in the race will play away from home.

Soltilo Bright Stars will host Buganda Regional League side Kiyinda Boys at Kavumba Recreation grounds while Bunyaruguru United will face off with FUFA Big League Calvary FC in Yumbe District.

Paidha Black Angels a West Nile Regional League side that was restored after winning a petition against Kisugu United has been drawn against Express FC.

The winner between SC Villa and defenders BUL FC will visit Onduparaka FC at Greenlight Stadium in Arua.

FUFA ordered for a rematch after SC Villa filing a petition claiming the cancellation of their goal which left assistant referee Khalid Muyaga banned.

The games will be played between 11th and 17th March
