Maroons FC have confirmed the appointment of Rodrick Muhumuza as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Muhumuza replaces Pius Bamwange who left the Luzira based entity for Arua Hill SC.

Upon his confirmation Muhumuza pledged to work hard towards the development of the historical club,

“I understand a huge task awaits me here but I am determined to return that honour in any way possible that I can within my reach.”

“I am so honoured to have the chance to serve the historical club and its ever growing fan base, I am gracefully embracing the challenge and look forward to positive results.” He added as reported by the club

The new CEO will have to work hard in saving the club from relegation

Before the second round kicks off Maroons FC will first face off with Kampala Regional League side Kisugu United FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup on a date yet to be known.

In UPL they will play Busoga United on Friday 10th February in Jinja on match day 15.
