Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have parted ways with Nigerian forward Abubaker Lawal

The lanky Nigerian international joined Vipers SC in July 2022 after signing a contract of two years AS Kigali of Rwanda.

The forward has found it hard to get enough playing time with the Kitende based side.

Reports indicate he is already in Vietnam for a possible move to a club yet to be identified.

He has previously played for AS Kigali of Rwanda, Kano Pillars, Wilkinson Tourists and Nasarawa United in Nigeria

Vipers SC previously unveiled Brazzillian Roberto Luiz Bianchi Pelliser as their new coach.

Karim Ndugwa from BUL FC and free agent Martin Kizza are the two new signings that have joined Vipers SC in the on going transfer window.

The Venoms finished the first round of the UPL third with 27 points same as second placed BUL two behind leaders KCCA FC
