URA FC has confirmed parting ways with their assistant headcoach Baker Mbowa.

Mbowa has served less than a year having joined the Tax Collectors in April last year.

The club appreciated Mbowa for the services rendered to the club as well as wishing him the best in his next endeavours.

“We wish to announce that URA has parted ways with assistant coach Baker Mbowa with immediate effect.”

“Mbowa joined the club in April 2022 and has been serving as assistant coach to Sam Timbe.”

“For now Timbe remains head coach and his new assistant will be named very soon as URA FC we would like to thank coach Mbowa for the memories with us and wish him all the best in his future endeavour.” Read the club statement.

11th on the table with 14 points from 14 games, URA FC start the second round away from home against fellow strugglers Onduparaka FC on Saturday 11th October 2023
