After getting off the mark over the weekend, Wakiso Giants will be desperate to maintain the feat when they visit UPDF at Bombo on Tuesday October 25th.

The 2-1 win over Blacks Power had some good moments in the display but the team missed several chances that could have put the game to bed earlier.

Moses Aliro, a second half substitute in Friday encounter believes winning against Blacks Power can be used as a springboard for more victories starting with the game at Bombo.

“At the moment, everyone is ready. We have been working so hard and the most important thing is that we go that winning touch against Blacks Power,” he said.

“So, against UPDF tomorrow, we shall give everything on the pitch to ensure we get all three points,” he added.

Joshua Lubwama and Samson Kiirya are still away with the Sand Cranes at the Afcon Beach Soccer final tournament.

Titus Ssematimba, Marvin Nyanzi and Ronald Madoi also miss out as they are with the Uganda National U-20 team that leaves for Afcon U-20 Cecafa Zonal qualifiers on Wednesday morning.

Shariph Kimbowa also returns to the team after he missed the game on Saturday through a foot injury.

UPDF FC picked a point in their last outing drawing 1-1 with Soltilo Bright Stars at Kavumba.

They are unbeaten at home in two games beating Busoga United 3-2 and then drew goalless 1-1 with Express FC

In the premier league, Wakiso Giants are unbeaten against UPDF winning 3 and drawing one in the four meetings.
