Wakiso Giants are back at home with a tie against defending champions Express FC on Wednesday April 13th.

The Purple Sharks will be looking to win at home for the first time in three matches after losing the previous two games against Onduparaka and SC Villa.

They enter Wednesday’s game on the back of a 1-0 away  win to Tooro United.

Meanwhile, Express FC are buoyed by the two wins in as many past games including the most recent against rivals SC Villa at Njeru

“We recovered from the back to back losses at home with a win away to Tooro United against a team that hadn’t lost a game by second round at their home in Buhinga,” Wakiso Giants head coach Alex Gitta said.

“We want to build on that against the defending champions Express FC who have improved of late.”

Titus Ssematimba and Simon Namwanja are suspended due to accumulation of three bookings and a red card.

Hassan Wasswa Dazo is still nursing an injury but Grant Matsiko, and Edward Satulo who missed the trip to Tooro are back and available.

Express FC enter this game with 39 points while Wakiso Giants have 36 points.
